The 16th century Grade II Listed large timber framed property was unfortunately subject to a breach of the heating oil feed line to the kitchen stove. The heating oil spillage discharged heating oil within the ground behind the cellar retaining wall.
Extensive temporary works were required to prop significant parts of the property, in order that the contaminated substrate below, including the impacted cellar retaining walls could be safely excavated/rebuilt and remediated.
