Cantilevered glass panels served as frames for the display of a series of silk artworks by Carole Waller.

MLDE were responsible for the specification of the laminate glass systems which had to be able to contain the silk pieces within, and the foundations to provide the overturning restraint to these cantilever elements. The element of public risk had to be factored in when designing the accidental load cases for these installations and the safety requirements that could be met.
