From its beginnings as a modest bungalow, this residential property underwent a significant refurbishment with the addition of an architecturally striking first floor. Panels of structural glass, tethered by thin gauge tension wires, supports the entire weight of the free form roof structure.
From within, the roof appears to lift away from the structure, revealing an additional band of natural light made possible only by the uninterrupted panorama of the structurally load bearing glass panes.
