A pair of bronze house martins suspended on a solid steel bar over a small man made ‘creek’ giving the impression of them swooping through the air. Designed to withstand an impact from a passing boat, the anchoring plate fixed to the bed of the creek had to be water resistant and robust enough to support the weight of the bronze some five metres above the bed.
