Black Bridge

A low cost steel pedestrian bridge that utilises old Victorian railway bridge foundations. The galvanised steel finish allows for a very low maintenance structure which not only re-establishes transport links but also forms a public amenity space. The bridge was conceived & designed by MLDE and reintroduces an interesting form to a once derelict part of the landscape.

The link forms part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network.
